I have worked with various groups of teenagers and enjoy collaboratively devising projects with them. Portraits is often a challenge to begin with but in the end works well for teenagers.  About me can also work well for teenagers.

However  what is illustrated below is some documentation of a two day workshop I have run a few times for UWE.  It is known as PATH (Positive Action Training Hub) program.  Over the two days the students are very busy.  After a short presentation we spend some time shooting portraits, this gets everyone familiar with the cameras and each other whilst also working on generally improving their photography skills. We then go on to talk about and devise narrative stories, go and shoot them and then create them as final short photo stories.

'Lets start with portraits!'
